Contract Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

InsuranceStaffing.com is an insurance-specific recruiting and staffing agency operating since 1991. We're looking for an experienced contract adjuster to handle high-severity First and Third-Party Bodily Injury claims across Personal and Commercial Lines for one of our clients. This is a remote contract role for someone who can step in, take ownership of a complex caseload, and produce results with minimal ramp-up time.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle investigations covering coverage, liability, and injury, including securing statements and directing field vendors, counsel, and surveillance
• Coverage analysis across Excess and Primary policies, including UM/UIM and Commercial exposures
• Reserve accuracy, adjusting financial exposure as claims develop
• Litigation support in partnership with defense counsel and fraud referrals to SIU
• Negotiations directly with injured parties and attorneys to reach merit-based resolutions
• Subrogation identification and recovery
• Support on arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5+ years handling bodily injury claims, ideally with Commercial, UM/UIM, or Excess/Umbrella exposure
• Multi-state claim handling experience; Massachusetts and New Hampshire experience is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of litigation, arbitration, and trial procedure
• Strong coverage analysis, investigation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Active adjuster license(s) in relevant states

Rate

$35-$55/hour, based on experience. Contract position.
